When in doubt, doubt:

• Consider the source.

Who is the author?
Who is the sponsor?

• Know the agenda.

  What is the purpose of the Web page?
  Is the information biased or designed to sway opinion?
  Is there any advertising on the page?

• Look at details.

  Is the page dated?
  How current are the links?
