Whether your ancestors have been in the U.S. for generations or you are a First-Generation student, you can benefit greatly from researching your family history, a fascinating and rewarding process of interviewing family members, searching public records, or public records in foreign countries, searching for Historical Articles or articles in the library databases on any topic that comes up in your Family History journey. Family Search: Use Free Account to search family records in the U.S. and other Countries.

Family Search website is a great place to find census records, military records, etc. for family members or relatives. These records can give you information about siblings, name changes, important dates and locations, etc.

You will be asked to create a free account and then you can sign in with Google, etc., if you prefer. Once you sign up:

Click on Search at the top and choose Records from the drop-down box.
