Evaluate Websites

Each of these boxes contains two websites about the subject.

  1. Click on the each link.
  2. Examine the website.
  3. Decide which one is the better choice for research.

Remember to determine:

  • Who wrote it. Is the author or sponor an authority?
  • What information is given. Is it accurate?
  • When was the site last updated?
  • Where is the site. Is it reliable?
  • Why is this information posted? What is the intended purpose?
