Resources for music research.

Books and Media

Circulating books and media items are located on the second and third floors of the library. Call numbers A-N are located on the second floor and call numbers P-Z are located on the third floor.

Reserve books are located on the first floor of the library at the Circulation Desk. Reserve materials are to be used in the library for two hours.

Reserve media items are located in Media Reserve on the first floor of the library.

Searching Library Sources


You can search the catalog in a number of ways. To find books on a particular style of music, limit to subject and search by that style. 

 

To find a particular composer or artist, you can search by subject or words anywhere. *TIP- when searching using a name, always type  as: last name, first name. Example: wonder, Stevie.
