Distance Education Library Tools and Tricks

The Library provides access to five streaming audio databases from Alexander Street Press:

American Song:  A history database that allows people to hear and feel the music from America's past

Classical Music Library: A collection of classical works from medieval times to the 21st century.

Smithsonian Global Sound for Libraries: A virtual encyclopedia of the world's musical and aural traditions.

Contemporary World MusicThe sounds of all regions from every continent. 

Popular Music Librarycontains a wide range of popular music from around the world, including alternative, country, Christian, electronic, hip-hop, metal, punk, new age, R&B, reggae, rock, soundtracks and many more.
